Hank helps homeowners organize information about custom home builds, including contracts, bids, milestones, change orders, project records, and related communications. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, account credentials, project details, uploaded documents, support messages, free-tool submissions, and other information you choose to add to Hank.
We may also collect usage and device information such as pages viewed, feature interactions, browser/device information, approximate location derived from IP address, and analytics events. We use this to operate, secure, debug, and improve Hank.
How we use information
- Provide and improve Hank's project-management, document-review, and free-tool experiences.
- Create accounts, authenticate users, and maintain project records.
- Send transactional emails, support responses, product updates, and operational notices.
- Analyze usage, measure marketing performance, and improve site visibility and conversion.
- Protect Hank, users, and projects from abuse, fraud, and security risks.
AI-assisted features
Hank uses AI-assisted workflows to summarize and organize project information. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed by you and appropriate professionals. We do not use Hank as a substitute for licensed legal, construction, engineering, tax, or financial advice.
Sharing
We share information with service providers that help us operate Hank, such as hosting, email, analytics, payment, storage, and AI infrastructure providers. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or with project collaborators you invite or authorize.
Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure. We retain information as long as needed to provide Hank, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain records.
Your choices
You may update account information in Hank or contact us to request help accessing, correcting, exporting, or deleting information where applicable. Some project records may need to be retained for legal, security, or operational reasons.
